Qatar’s ambassador to Germany, HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, has presented the economic situation in Qatar, the rich investment opportunities and the secure investment environment it enjoys.
Addressing businessmen, economists and representatives of German companies at the invitation of Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce in Cologne in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, the ambassador presented the practical steps taken by Qatar towards diversifying its sources of income, its steps to increase the competitiveness of its national economy so as to ensure integration into the global economy and compliance with the current developments.
HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani highlighted the attention the government of Qatar gives to investing in human capital, establishing the innovation culture and localising industries.
The ambassador said Qatar is confidently moving forward in terms of achieving its ambitions, and is smartly and uniquely implementing plans of economic transformation to accommodate the new changes.
After the lecture, HE the ambassador responded to the questions and inquiries of the participants.
