The closing ceremony of Shop Qatar 2018 took place at Doha Festival City’s Centre Court on Thursday evening, featuring a traditional Qatari Ardha dance and a performance by Lebanese popstar Ramy Ayach.
The show drew a large audience as the curtains came down on the month-long event, described as “the country’s biggest shopping festival”.
The second edition of Shop Qatar, presented by Qatar Tourism Authority along with its partners, began on January 7.
It featured a wide variety of shopping offers, raffle draws, fashion shows, pop-up shops and cultural performances, and attracted large crowds across several venues.
