Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) has unveiled a new era of
smartphone development with the launch of Huawei Mate 10 lite, the
world’s first smartphone with four cameras and a ground-breaking
FullView Display in Qatar.
Featuring industry’s first 16-Megapixel + 2-Megapixel dual rear cameras,
and 13-Megapixel + 2-Megapixel dual front cameras, the system works
together to give “unmatchable high quality” photos, a release issued by
the company said.
“The new Mate 10 lite is set to deliver an ultimate user experience with
its incredible features and functionality allowing users to capture,
share and connect with the world around them.”
“Huawei Mate 10 lite demonstrates Huawei’s commitment in providing
consumers with the most innovative technology,” said Gene Jiao,
president of Huawei CBG, Middle East & Africa.
Besides the dual-lenses cameras on both the front and back of the
device, the Mate 10 lite is Huawei’s first phone with Selfie Toning
Flash (studio-level lights that produce an effect closer to that of
natural light to create a more realistic feel).
The phone is also equipped with the latest beauty 4.0 algorithm, with
additional features such as 3D face recognition, gender recognition, fun
facial filters, and more.
The Mate 10 lite is engineered using high-quality industrial materials,
and the sleek unibody design is complemented by high-end components and
intelligent software – including Huawei’s EMUI 5.1.
Huawei Mate 10 lite’s 16nm 8-core Kirin 659 chipset is capable of
clocking at 2.36 GHz. Meanwhile, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM internal
storage is capable of comfortably running multiple tasks efficiently.
Huawei Mate 10 lite’s hardware is supported by its deeply integrated
software. Huawei’s Android 7-based EMUI 5.1 intelligently optimises the
stock Android experience from the ground up. Huawei’s proprietary
machine learning technology allows Mate 10 lite to learn and predict
user behaviour, making it a device that really understands its owner and
acts on this knowledge to improve performance.
The Huawei’s Mate 10 lite has also introduced two exclusively
tailor-made software upgrades to device users, designed to bring more
features, functionality and fun to the mobile experience. The new
features include a face unlock option, as well as an augmented reality
(AR) lens, providing entertaining and colourful backgrounds and effects.
