The employees of
the Qatar Financial Center (QFC) Authority (QFCA), QFC Regulatory
Authority, Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre and
Qatar Finance and Business Academy volunteered to visit Hamad General
Hospital’s paediatric ward as part of corporate social responsibility.
The
QFC employees played and interacted with the children and their
parents, and distributed gifts from Toys “R” Us that lifted the
children’s spirits. “Through focusing on the children’s welfare, we are
investing in our future generations and ensuring the continued growth
and development of our country,” Yousef Abdullah Fakhroo, chief
marketing and corporate communications officer, QFCA, said.
Maitha
Saad al-Buainain, executive director of Community Partnership and
Patients Outreach at Hamad General Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation,
thanked QFC for its kind visit paid to the patients at Hamad General
Hospital and the valuable gifts it distributed to them.
“HMC is keen
to provide safe, affectionate and effective healthcare services for each
of its patients. In addition, the corporation pays considerable
attention to meeting their different needs, relieving their pains, as
well as promoting volunteerism in the community,” she added.
