Qatari farm and food supplier Baladna has announced its participation in the ‘Qatar Sufficiency Exhibition (QSSE) 2018’, a first-of-its-kind event in the region dedicated to diversifying production lines and shaping the country’s future economy.
Baladna will be covering a 100sqm space to showcase the company’s dairy and the food products at the exhibition slated from April 1 to 3 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).
The QSSE is organised by HiSky for Tourism and Exhibitions with the Ministry of Economy and Commerce as the event’s Main Partner.
“Baladna is proud to take part in such an initiative because it plays a key role in the economic development and food security programme of the state of Qatar,” said Baladna CEO Peter Weltevreden.
He added: “Baladna has shown big expansion up to now, leading to a very promising start of its new business in less than a year from its establishment in late 2016. We are delighted to showcase our achievements during QSSE and to meet potential consumers, customers, and investors to discuss our plans going forward.”
