HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah held today a telephone conversation with the UK Secretary of Defence Gavin Williamson.
During the phone call, they discussed bilateral relations in the military and defence fields, and means of enhancing and developing them, as well as the latest developments related to the joint arming of the Qatari armed forces with the United Kingdom.
HE Dr. Al Attiyah also briefed the Secretary of Defence of the United Kingdom, on the results of the first US-Qatari strategic dialogue held in Washington at the end of January.
