Though the viewing conditions were not perfect due to an overcast sky, people in Qatar could still witness a lunar spectacle on Wednesday evening, which included the first lunar eclipse of the year.
The rare celestial treat, which was viewed in parts of western North America, Asia, the Middle East, Russia and Australia, caused a buzz as it combined three unusual lunar events — an extra big 'super moon', a 'blue moon' and a total lunar eclipse.
