Hypermarket group Safari has announced that the Kebab and Biryani Festival in the bakery and hot food section and the Meat Festival in the butchery section will begin today.
At the Kebab & Biryani Festival, customers can experience a wide variety of biryani and kebab, Safari has said in a statement.
More than 50 types of biryani, including Lucknow gosht, Kashmiri vegetable, mussels, prawns, hara macchi, egg, harkmas (beef), Malabar chicken, Mattanjery chicken, Kayikka’s beef, Thalassery mutton and others, will be available as part of the initiative. 
Also, about 40 varieties of kebab, including filly kebab, Lala grilled tikka, Rangoli sheekh kebab, tandoori fish kebab, beef sheekh kebab, grilled lamb chops, kali mirchi kebab and camel sheekh kebab, all prepared “under the supervision of the best chefs”, will be 
on offer. 
“Come and experience the delicious dishes offered at the festival at the best prices possible,” the 
statement noted.
Meanwhile, several varieties of meat from across the globe, including New Zealand topside, Pakistan mutton and Arabian lamb, will be available in the butchery section as part of the Meat Festival. Also among the highlights of the festival are Indian mutton at QR28 per kg and Indian buffalo at QR20 per kg, according to Safari. This offer is available at all Safari outlets in Doha.
Meanwhile, five draws will be held as part of the ongoing ‘Safari Win 10 Nissan Patrol Car Promotion’, with two vehicles to be won in each draw. To avail of the opportunity to win the Nissan Patrol, customers need to make purchases worth a minimum of QR50 to be 
eligible for a raffle coupon.
