Al Wakrah Municipality's health control section has destroyed around 60kg of fish at the Al Wakrah fish market for not being fit for human consumption, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has said in a statement. In another development, the MME, represented in the wildlife protection department, detected two violations that involved the dumping of waste in an undesignated area near Umm Al Zubar. Necessary legal action was taken against the violators, the MME said.
