Very Good Ten Out Of Ten is a children’s movie in Kannada language. The movie will be screened at Asian Town cinema in Qatar today at 7pm.
The movie’s all major roles, except two, are played by child actors. Bollywood star Juhi Chawla essays a music teacher in the movie and Yashwant Sirpeshpande, script writer and co-director of the movie, plays the principal of a school. 
Talking to Community, producer of the movie Arvind Patil said, “The movie was produced by Gurubala Entertainers Hubballi. Besides Yashwant, the movie is co-directed by Kalyan. it was released in Karnataka, India, about one-and-a-half-month ago.”
He said, “All songs – except the title song – in the movie are sung by child singers. The film revolves around the life and desires of the children.” 
“The most distinct feature about the film is that Bollywood star Juhi Chawla, for the first time, sings the title song for the movie,” he said.
The producer said, “Children, in the film, are not happy with their parents. They think that their parents always pester them as they stop them from watching television, playing, and eating too much ice cream all the time. They think that their parents are always after them and have made their lives miserable. They wish there would be no parents.”
Patil said, “The real story in movie starts when parents decide to leave their town to children. They leave the town and allow children to be on their own. The children have to manage everything in their daily lives in the town. They have to act as police, teachers, judges etc. The children make a festival of it in the beginning. Parents on the other side, outside the town, remain busy in playing and merrymaking without taking care of their children.”
The producer goes on to say, “Then a child falls sick and realises that he has been living without his parents for many days. He starts missing his parents badly. He makes other children realise about the absence and importance of their parents. The story reaches the climax when parents and their children meet after many days.”
Patil said, “I am here to see the movie being screened in Qatar. Our movie is going to be the first children’s film in Kannada language releasing in Qatar. The movie has already been nominated for an award at Bricks Film Festival, which will be held in Hyderabad, India soon. Out of 186 movies, Very Good Ten Out Of Ten has been included in 10 nominated movies. We are very happy that the film has been nominated and it will encourage us to make more films for children.”
The producer said, “The film has been doing very well in India since its release. However, we expect that the movie will get more attention from children from May onwards. Schools in India are closed in summer and we expect children to watch the film more during their holidays.”
Talking to Community, Subramanya Hebbagelu, Vice President, Karnataka Sangha Qatar, said, “The community will welcome the Kannada children movie in Qatar. We have done a lot of marketing and hope to see a good response from our community. We have been trying to bring more and more Kannada movies to Qatar as there are a lot of people from Karnataka state here. We have been bringing one Kannada film every month to Qatar.”
He said, “I am thankful to Patil and his team for bringing their film to Qatar. It will provide good entertainment to families and children of the community in Qatar. Such kinds of movies also help parents teach important things to their children. Children also learn a great deal about their native language, their culture back in India and it sort of enables them to keep a connection to their country while living in Qatar.”
