Ivory Coast Minister of Defense Hamed Bakayoko bids farewell to His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani upon departure from Abidjan International Airport.

His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left Abidjan Saturday night to conclude an official visit to the Republic of Ivory Coast.

Bidding His Highness the Emir farewell upon departure from Abidjan International Airport were Ivorian Minister of Defense Hamed Bakayoko, Minister of Foreign Affairs Marcel Amon Tanoh, Ivory Coast’s ambassador to Qatar Tory Vazoumana, Qatar's Charges D'affairs in Ivory Coast Shamsan Abdullah Al Sada and other high ranking officials.


His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani waves as he departs from International Airport, Abidjan.

Later, His Highness the Emir sent a cable to Ivory Coast President Alassane Ouattara expressing deep gratitude and thanks for the welcome His Highness and the accompanying delegation were given during the visit which allowed for exchanging views on regional developments of joint interest, and for discussing ways to enhance friendship and cooperation in all fields.  His Highness the Emir also wished the president good health and happiness, and further progress and development for the people of Ivory Coast.
