Qatar and UK discuss boosting military ties
HE Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, received yesterday evening a phone call from Gavin Williamson, UK Secretary of State for Defence. During the call, the two sides discussed strengthening bilateral military relations, as well as the latest developments in the region.

Qatar pavilion at 2018 draw in Russia
Qatar will have a strong presence at the 2018 FIFA World Cup draw in Russia through the Football Market exhibition, which will be held on the sidelines of the event. A special pavilion of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) will offer information about Qatar and preparations for the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
