The Qatar Met department has said strong winds are expected in parts of the country by midday Wednesday.

The weather office has also issued a warning for strong winds and high seas in offshore areas.
The wind speed (northwesterly) may go up to 33 knots offshore and 20 knots inshore, with the sea level rising to 12ft in some places at times.
The detailed forecast says mild daytime conditions are likely in inshore areas along with some clouds and slight to blowing dust by midday.
Slightly dusty conditions and some clouds have been forecast in offshore areas.
Meanwhile, the Met department said in a post on social media that the temperature was likely to be around their average levels during the week. It is, however, expected to decrease by the middle of next week, dropping below 15C in the southern parts of Qatar.
Wednesday’s minimum temperature is expected to be 18C in Al Khor and Abu Samra, and 22C in Doha. On Tuesdy, the minimum was 18C in Mesaieed, Turayna and Abu Samra, while in Doha it was 22C.
