At the outset of the meeting, Sheikh Jassim conveyed the Emir’s greetings to the emir of Kuwait and his wishes of health and well-being to him and further wishes of constant progress and growth to the fraternal Kuwaiti people.
In turn, the emir of Kuwait entrusted Sheikh Jassim with his greetings to His Highness the Emir and his wishes of health and happiness to him and further wishes of more development and prosperity to the Qatari people.
The meeting reviewed means of enhancing and developing ties between the two fraternal countries. It also discussed developments in the region.
The First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled al-Hamad al-Sabah attended the meeting along with Deputy Minister of the Emiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah al-Sabah.
The Kuwaiti emir hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of His Highness Sheikh Jassim and his accompanying delegation at Dar Salwa.
