His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment, chaired on Thursday morning the council's fifth meeting of the year at the Emiri Diwan.
His Highness the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani, vice chairman of the council, attended the meeting. HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani also attended the meeting in his capacity as executive member of the council along with Their Excellencies members of the council.
The meeting discussed topics on the agenda and took the appropriate decisions.
The council also reviewed developments related to investment and energy affairs.
