Ooredoo has announced that it is the official telecommunication sponsor of the upcoming Rowad Qatar - Entrepreneurship Awards and Conference, organised by Qatar Development Bank (QDB).
Taking place during the Global Entrepreneurship Week, the event runs from today until November 15 and aims to offer inspiring activities and events to motivate and recognise outstanding entrepreneurs, as well as to encourage networking, showcasing
and learning in Qatar.
As official telecommunication sponsor, Ooredoo will have a booth at the event where they will showcase the innovative Business Collaboration Solution, the new superfast fibre broadband portfolio for businesses, Enterprise mobility solutions, Office 365 and Nojoom Business, according to a press
statement.
Ooredoo’s chief business officer, Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Nasser al-Thani, will also be giving a keynote speech at the event, highlighting the company’s investment in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship for both the company’s future and Qatar’s.
To further demonstrate the importance of the culture of entrepreneurship, which is significantly boosting Qatar’s economy, there will also be an Entrepreneurship Award to recognise entrepreneurship in Qatar and businesses that enable it.
