Aspire Zone
Foundation (AZF), in partnership with Katara – the Cultural Village and
Ooredoo, is organising Qatar’s first ever lake show dubbed as the
‘Aspire Lake Festival’ from November 9 to 11. Inspired by Venetian
culture, the three-day festival at Aspire Park will be an aesthetic
masterpiece for community members of all ages to enjoy, featuring
musical and artistic entertainment performed in boats on the Aspire Lake
from 7.30pm. AZF will also hold family activities and set up a range of
stalls selling food and local products on the sidelines of the
festival. “We are happy to collaborate with Katara and Ooredoo for this
event, which we are bringing to Qatar for the first time ever. As a
leading organisation in Qatar, AZF is committed to boosting the tourism
and leisure sectors by introducing new activities to attract and excite
visitors,” AZF’s public relations and communications director Nasser
Abdullah al-Hajri said.
“Thanks to this innovative approach, Aspire
Park has become one of the most popular destinations for families and
other community members looking to spend quality recreational time with
their friends and loved ones,” he added. Al-Hajri noted that this event
is part of AZF’s year-round calendar of activities, which attract
thousands of visitors annually. “Some of our previous events include
the ‘Aspire International Kite Festival’, which was organised for the
first time in Qatar this year, and Qatar’s Strongest Man, which is now
an annual event thanks to its popularity,” he said.
