The British Council and Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) have joined hands to embark on a new venture with the launch of QNCC as the new venue for IELTS (International English Language Testing System) in Qatar. The centre officially opens on November 4 for IELTS test candidates.
The signing ceremony was hosted at QNCC last week to mark the beginning of a new venture for British Council Qatar to enhance customer experience.
The launch event was represented by the network of members from the British Council and QNCC, who have contributed towards achieving this milestone.
The state-of-the-art ambience, all equipped with modern facilities, will create an enduring partnership in delivering high quality exams for IELTS candidates.
The new centre, located in Gharafat Al Rayyan, on the Dukhan Highway in Doha, is one of the largest and technologically advanced IELTS test venues in the Middle East.
Dr Frank Fitzpatrick, country director at the British Council, Qatar said: “I would like to congratulate both the teams from the British Council and QNCC on making this happen. This wonderful and inspiring venue will surely create a memorable experience for our candidates in delivering IELTS exams, the world’s most popular English language test, in Qatar.”
