Emir condoles with king of Spain and Portuguese president

His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani sent yesterday cables of condolences to King of Spain Felipe VI and President of Portugal Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa following devastating forest fires in northwestern Spain and central and northern Portugal which claimed several lives and injured many. The Emir wished the injured a speedy recovery. His Highness the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani also sent cables of condolences to the Spanish and Portuguese leaders. HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani also sent similar cables to Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy and Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa.
