The Turkish Forum regularly organises the World Bosphorus Summit, which is attended by nearly 5,000 people from 90 countries.

HE Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah, founder, The Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah International Foundation for Energy and Sustainable Development, said, “It’s a great opportunity to work with our partner, UIP-ICP, to foster dialogue among our regional and international peers. We will emphasise the role of Qatar as a thought-leader and champion for international collaboration and communication.”

Qatar Petroleum president and CEO Saad Sherida al-Kaabi said: “We are very pleased to support the 8th Bosphorus Summit, which we believe will help enhance global cooperation and further bolster Qatar’s historic relations with Turkey.”

The Al-Attiyah Foundation is co-managing the programme on the second day of the summit, dedicated to energy and sustainability.

The foundation will lead the discussion with world-renowned experts on ‘how the global energy landscape will evolve.’

On the first day of the summit, al-Attiyah will also join an expert ministerial panel exploring the theme in detail.

In addition, Qatar will be represented by four leading companies from the oil and gas industry — Qatar Petroleum, Qatargas, Woqod and Gulf Helicopters.
