Qatar-based broadcaster beIN group yesterday refuted all allegations of corruption made public earlier in the day by Swiss investigators examining the sale of World Cup media rights.
“beIN Media Group refutes all accusations made by the OAG (Switzerland’s attorney general’s office),” read a statement from the group, headed up by Paris Saint-Germain football club president Nasser al-Khelaifi. “The company will fully co-operate with the authorities and is confident as to the future developments of this investigation,” the statement added.
