Prime Minister visits industrial zone
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani yesterday visited the headquarters of the Department of Industrial Areas at the small and medium industries’ area, where he listened to a comprehensive explanation about the area and its projects. The prime minister toured the industrial zone and directed that all support be offered to the existing factories. He urged officials to follow on projects that are still under construction and overcome difficulties that they may encounter before starting production.
Registration for winter camping season to start
Qatar’s Ministry of Municipality and Environment said registration for the winter camping season will be from October 22 to December 31. The season kicks off on November 1 and runs until April 30. Ahmed Mohamed al-Sada, the ministry’s assistant undersecretary for environment affairs, called for preserving the environment and the wildlife at camping sites and the importance of respecting the regulations for the safety of campers.
