A multiple category lifestyle auction dubbed as ‘The Gentleman’s Sale’ will feature 51 unique, rare and one-of-a-kind objects on September 27 at Katara – the Cultural Village’s building 22c, it was announced.
The event, being organised by the Albahie Auction House, will showcase special edition wristwatches, clocks, vintage and limited edition pens, arms and armour, and a special selection of oud.
Among the highlights of the upcoming sale, under the ‘2017 Fall Auction Season,’ are: an iconic Worldtimer Tempus Terrae wristwatch by Andersen Genève with a custom Doha city ring, along with unique wristwatches from boutique Swiss watchmakers ArtyA, James Pellaton, Alexis Garin, and special edition wristwatches from
Bulgari, Perrelet, and HD3.
For watch and car enthusiasts, Albahie will offer two rare collaboration watches from Bugatti with Parmigiani Fluerier and Pininfarina with Bovet.
The sale includes a collection of limited edition Montblanc Great Characters and Writers Edition fountain pens and rollerballs, limited edition Montegrappa fountain pens, vintage Cartier pens and seven lots of rare Indian, Sailani and Cambodian oud – all available with samples for burning during the pre-sale exhibition.
A VIP opening reception and press preview will take place on September 20 from 6pm to 9pm, featuring a ‘Collector’s Series’ by Mohamed al-Delamy.
