Qatar Post (Q-Post) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) sealing a partnership that is set to further enhance the way two of the key organisations in the country are connected.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Q-Post chief operations officer Hamad al-Fahida, deputy director (marketing and sales) Khalid al-Emadi and QCAA’s director of shared services Ali Hamad al-Kuwari.
Under the new agreement, the QCAA will benefit from Q-Post’s services including Global Priority, Mumtaz Post EMS, Mail Room and Business Delivery as well as Digital Mail Room. Additionally, Q-Post will now provide its services to all organisations affiliated to the QCAA.
Commenting on the new partnership, al-Fahida said, “Q-Post is a national icon that has been connecting people and organisations in the country for generations. As we move further into a holistic modernisation of our services, it is important for us to join hands with key organisations so that we can continue to expand our footprint and serve a wider audience.
We are proud of our partnership with the QCAA and look forward to collaborating on future projects that will benefit our society as a whole.”
QCAA’s al-Kuwari said, “In light of the very high standards of our industry, the Civil Aviation Authority and our affiliates need solid, fast, efficient and reliable postal services. Q-Post excels in providing best-in-class postal services with outstanding customer care. We are proud of joining forces with such a respected Qatari organisation.”
Q-Post will seal new strategic partnerships in the months to come. Q-Post’s overall strategy aims to contribute to building a diversified and knowledge-based economy that serves the interests of the local society, while putting Qatar on the map in the global postal services sector.
