Qatar Post (Q-Post) has signed a MoU with the Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) to forge a new partnership that will serve as the basis for collaboration opportunities, including a new creative outdoor gallery and a mobile Qatar Post kiosk at Aspire Park as well as the launch of a new stamp collection.
The agreement was signed last week at Aspire in the presence of Q-Post chairman and managing director Falah al-Naemi and AZF director general Abdullah Nasser al-Naemi as well as Katara’s Arab Postal Stamps Museum head Khalid Rustom.
Under the new agreement, a retail kiosk will be opened at Aspire Zone, expanding Q-Post’s services to the local community.
Q-Post will also launch the Aspire Sport stamp collection celebrating the core mission of the AZF as a global reference for sports excellence, in addition to many other planned initiatives in the future.
Commenting on the new partnership, Faleh al-Naemi said Q-Post is currently streamlining its operations and diversifying its product offerings and partnerships through a holistic modernisation of postal services.
“Teaming up with Aspire and targeting new customers within the sports community is part of this modernisation process. Q-Post always partners with the best and we are proud to join forces with such a dynamic and respected organisation. We share the same core values of teamwork, professionalism, integrity, respect and excellence, which forms a strong basis for our collaboration. We are looking forward to working hand-in-hand with Aspire on future projects,” the Q-Post official said.
The AZF official said: “We are honoured to collaborate with Q-Post to extend more services to Aspire Zone visitors through the new mobile kiosk. We are also thrilled to witness the launch of the Aspire Sport stamp collection that will reach every corner of the world carrying the message of excellence in sports and leaving a permanent legacy for future generations. Moreover, the agreement will allow AZF to bring another cultural element to Aspire Zone by organising a creative outdoor gallery with Q-Post.”
Q-Post’s deputy director of sales and marketing Khalid al-Emadi said: “Aspire Zone’s central location in Qatar will allow Q-Post services to cater to all members of the community, especially sports enthusiasts. We have a highly customer-centric approach and we put customer convenience at the top of our priorities. We hope Aspire Zone visitors will make the most of this new point of sales.”
Q-Post’s transformation strategy is in line with Qatar’s long-term goal of building a competitive, global and knowledge-based economy and transforming the country into a fully-connected society.
