Nasser bin Khaled (NBK) Holding has concluded ‘The Journey of Glory’ national campaign recently, allowing Qatar residents to sign and write messages of love, loyalty and patriotism on Mercedes-Benz vehicles used as ‘billboards’.
Launched on August 6, ‘The Journey of Glory’ travelled for two weeks to key landmarks in Qatar, giving people an opportunity to express their solidarity with the country and its wise leadership.
The campaign used two bespoke mobile ‘billboards’ (Mercedes-Benz cars) to carry the signatures and testimonials of people.
NBK Holding chairman and CEO Sheikh Nawaf Nasser bin Khaled was the first to sign the cars at a special ceremony, along with second deputy CEO Sheik Nasser bin Nawaf, company staff and valued partners.
“Our campaign ‘The Journey of Glory’ has accomplished huge success and received overwhelming response from the people who expressed their emotions, loyalty and solidarity with Qatar and its wise leadership,” Sheik Nasser said. “We will remain committed to our community, and will continue to support our national economy and development.”
The two ‘billboard’ vehicles taking part in the campaign were decorated with the photo (drawing) of His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and the slogan ‘Tamim is Glory,’ touring main landmarks in Qatar, including the Museum of Islamic Art, The Pearl Qatar, Aspire Park, Souq Waqif, Katara – the Cultural Village and a number of malls.
NBK Holding was founded 50 years ago. It started its business with trading and distributing international brands in Qatar, and expanded its scope to include major investments in the industrial and commercial sectors.
