Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 0.16 points when the bourse closed trading at 9,065.34 points on Tuesday.
The volume of shares traded increased to 6,730,191 from 5,630,750 on Monday and the value of shares increased to QR127,751,460.92 from QR117,723,515.21 on Monday.
Of the 44 companies listed on QSE, 37 companies' shares were traded on Tuesday. Shares of 14 companies gained and 22 closed lower, while one remained unchanged.
Indices of four sectors ended in green and three sectors ended in red. QSE Total Return Index gained 0.00 to 15,202.04 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index fell 0.38% to 3,614.08 points and QSE All Share Index declined 0.15% to 2,560.92 points.
Qatar Index closed at 9,065.34 points on Tuesday.
