Qatar Post signed an agreement with Al Meera Group on Sunday sealing a new partnership aimed at installing Qatar Post self-service kiosks within Al Meera company branches across Qatar.
The decision marks another key milestone in the transformation journey of the organisation and its move to constantly improve customer service with better access and use of postal services across Qatar.
“Qatar Post is bringing the postal services a step closer to our consumers to support them in their day-to-day errands. Our goal is to make people’s life easier with a hassle-free customer experience.
“Our partnership with Al Meera is fully in line with the future growth and customer access strategy of Qatar Post, and we are very excited by the opening of our first retail kiosks,” said Hassan al-Otaibi, deputy director of Retails & Customers at Qatar Post.
The kiosks have an innovative and modern Qatari design with a new point of sale system enabling customers to find out more details about the broad range of services of Qatar Post, reflecting the changing needs of today’s customers.
The new kiosks will be installed in 11 Al Meera shopping branches group in 2017 starting with Umm Salal Ali and Al Thumama where customers can experience it firsthand.
In all locations, kiosks are providing the full range of postal services and opening hours will be aligned to the peak customer visiting hours at each branch in order to meet customers’ needs.
More kiosks will be added to the network in 2018 and 2019, including new and refurbished Al Meera mall locations.
