Ooredoo released yesterday a new virtual reality advertisement, designed to showcase the clear investment Ooredoo has placed in its network and technology for Qatar.
The advertisement, which is now available on YouTube, takes viewers on a 360-degree experience to see the interactivity of the Supernet when using the Internet and more across Qatar.
Anyone with augmented reality glasses can enjoy the virtual reality experience, free of charge via Ooredoo’s YouTube page now. For customers without augmented reality glasses, they can view it as a 360-degree video on their smart device by turning on the 360 feature in YouTube.
The state-of-the art advertisement will work on both Android and iOS phones, Ooredoo said.
Manar Khalifa al-Muraikhi, director of PR and Corporate Communications at Ooredoo Qatar, said: “Ooredoo is proud to have created its first virtual reality video about our 4G Pro and soon 5G speeds. We believe in constantly investing in our services to offer a leading data experience, and we hope this small snippet of what our network will soon be able to achieve will excite our customers.”
The advertisement is also the first virtual reality video produced by a telecommunications company in the region to promote speed and network. Thanks to the advertisement, people from across the world will be able to explore Qatar and see some of the countries landmark buildings and sites, Ooredoo said.
