Commander of the Qatari Emiri Naval Forces Major General Mohamed Nasser al-Mohannadi yesterday visited the Turkish frigate TCG Gokova, which is participating in naval manoeuvres between Qatar and Turkey. The Directorate of Moral Guidance at the Ministry of Defence said that Major General al-Mohannadi along with commander of the Turkish frigate Colonel Hassan Ozyurt toured the ship to learn about its capabilities and its advanced technology and high armament. The Directorate said the two commanders co-ordinated to prepare for the joint exercises on August 6 and 7. They also reviewed co-operation between the two countries in the military field and ways to develop them. The exercise is in accordance with the previous agreements and within the framework of bilateral and military co-operation between the two countries.
