The Health Ministry has denied the emergence of a disease called "SOL" transmitted by smoking Shisha. The ministry said in a press release that there is no basis for a disease called "SOL," stressing that what has been circulated recently on social media is completely false and baseless rumour. It warned that all forms of tobacco are harmful and cause many diseases, including cancer. Smoking Shisha could cause many diseases and provide a fertile environment for the spread of transitional diseases among its users such as TB and hepatitis if health procedures are not respected.
