Oman Air has announced that it is celebrating Oman’s Renaissance Day with Facebook and Instagram photograph and Twitter competitions.

To mark the occasion, Oman Air is encouraging its followers to share a photograph of their festivities via the Oman Air Facebook and Instagram pages (www.facebook/com/omanair). Winners will be selected by the airline on the criteria of how well their photograph fits the contest theme of ‘Spread Your Wings’, the quality of their photograph and how creative their photography is.
Three winners will win prizes from Shangri-la Resort Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa, Muscat. The first prize winner will receive a one-night complimentary stay for two in a Deluxe Room at Al Bandar Hotel, worth OMR90. The second and third prize winners will receive dinner vouchers to dine at The Samba – the resort’s onsite restaurant, the airline has said in a

The first prize winner will receive a one night’s complimentary stay in a Superior Room at Al Waha Hotel. The second and third prize winners will get dinner vouchers to dine at the resort’s onsite restaurant, Al Tanoor.
Mohamed al-Shikely, vice-president – Marketing for Oman Air, said: “On Renaissance Day, we want people from around the world to visit our Facebook page and share with us their celebrations. Through the photos, we want people to really express what this special day means to them. We are much looking forward to seeing all of the photographs people will share with us.”
The winners will be announced in the first week of August. Entrants must be over the age of 16 years and any person working for companies or groups associated with organising the competition, including employees and agents of the carrier, are not eligible to enter the
