HE the Minister of State for Defence Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah yesterday met Turkey’s Defence Minister Nurettin Canikli in Doha yesterday. During the meeting, issues of joint interest between Qatar and Turkey and means of enhancing them, especially in the military field, were discussed. The meeting was attended by the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Major General Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem, and Chief of Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces General Hulusi Akar.
