A photo exhibition at Katara – the Cultural Village is featuring 40 images taken by Qatari photographer Maha Rashid al-Athba.
The exhibition, titled ‘Angles,’ was inaugurated by Katara general manager Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti last week at Building 18, in the presence of artists and photography enthusiasts.
From 300 images, al-Athba selected 40 photographs to showcase the most prominent landmarks and modern buildings in Doha. ‘Angles’ is the photographer’s first personal exhibition.
“The Qatari youth never fail to amaze us with their outstanding talents that possess a high sense of creativity. Further, the exhibition is mind-blowing as the artist chose accurate photography angles that highlighted the beauty of various sites and buildings found across the State of Qatar,” Dr al-Sulaiti said.
