QIC Group subsidiary opens branch in Oman's Al Amerat

Oman Qatar Insurance Company, (OQIC), a premier insurer and subsidiary of Qatar Insurance Group, has opened a branch at Al Amerat in Oman, it was announced on Saturday. 
The full-service, one-stop branch offers a range of personal insurance products (car, home, and travel insurance) to existing and prospective new customers residing in Al Amerat area. 
In addition, the new branch aims to enhance OQIC’s service levels in the areas of motor claims surveys, claims processing, and claims settlement. 
The branch was inaugurated by Dr Sheikh Yahya bin Suleiman al-Nadabi, Wali of Al Amerat, in the presence of Qatar embassy second secretary Jumah bin Khalid Bujassoum, QIC Mena region deputy group president and CEO Salem al-Mannai, OQIC CEO Navin Kumar, and senior OQIC staff.
Al-Mannai said: “The opening of the sixth branch matches our objective of moving closer to our customers especially in the strategic area of Al Amerat. It also serves as proof of the strong customer confidence and support that OQIC enjoys in the Sultanate.”
He added: “Bringing convenience to customers has always been a priority for us. Going forward, we will continue to revolutionise our product offerings and services while bearing in mind the unique priorities of our customers. 
“It has indeed been a remarkable journey so far and I’m confident that with the support and encouragement of our customers, we will be successful in maintaining a long and successful relationship with them.”
