McDonald’s Qatar has announced that it has opened a new branch in Al Mirqab Mall.
The new McDonald’s outlet is the “first of its kind” in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region to have the iconic Ray Kroc design — founder of McDonald’s — and the second store in the world to follow this design after Japan, according to a press statement.
Featuring “new and advanced features in terms of technology, interior design, look and the overall concept”, the new outlet has a seating capacity for 115, and is located on the ground floor of Mirqab Mall on Al Nasr Street, the statement notes.
It is the global fast food chain’s 41st branch in Qatar.
Fadi Rezek, general manager at Al Mana Restaurants & Food Co – McDonald’s Qatar, said: “We want the people of Qatar to experience the extraordinary world of McDonald’s and enjoy every bit of it. We aim to provide a unique and distinctive experience to our customers in Qatar, such as providing Wi-Fi to accommodate young guests who are online and accepting card payments so that they need not spend time standing in a queue. We have achieved several milestones since our inception, and look forward to growing further.”
