Garangao, a traditional children’s festival celebrated on the 14th evening of the holy month of Ramadan, was observed with much joy and gaiety across Qatar yesterday. Children dressed in traditional attire were seen moving from house to house after Iftar, carrying pouches and singing, while collecting candies and other gifts.
