Al Ahli Hospital recently held several activities to celebrate Hand Hygiene Day under the theme “Fight antibiotic resistance, it’s in your hands”. The events were attended by the higher management, staff, nurses and physicians. The infection control department at the hospital participated at the events to raise awareness of hand hygiene among the staff and guests. “Hand hygiene is one of the most important things we can promote in healthcare to prevent illness,” said Dr Mohamed al-Ahmadi, director, pathology and laboratory medicine department at Al Ahli Hospital.
