A chance of light rain on Friday and Saturday is forecast by the Qatar Met Department along with the formation of thunder clouds in some places at times.
The weather office stated in a report on Thursday that hot weather would continue to prevail around the country with slight dust during the day.
Winds during this period would mostly be northwesterly-northeasterly inshore, blowing at a speed of 5-15 knots and reaching 18 knots occasionally by midday.
The temperature will range from the end-30C to early-40C levels in different parts of the country, which is around the average levels for May, the report states. 
No marine warnings are expected during this period and the sea will be suitable for different activities, according to the Met department. Friday's weather is expected to be hazy in some places in the early hours, followed by a hot day with slight dust and scattered clouds. There is a possibility of light rain at times.
Offshore, hazy and cloudy conditions are expected and there is also a weak chance of light rain.
The maximum temperature on Friday is expected to be 41C in Doha and Al Khor, followed by 40C in Wakrah and Mesaieed. On Thursday, a maximum of 43C was recorded in Al Rayyan, while in Doha it was 42C.
