Qatar’s national football team maintained its 89th position in the world on the new FIFA ranking released by the world football governing body yesterday. Brazil, which climbed to the top of the rankings for the first time in seven years last month, stayed at the head of the pack, followed by Argentina and 2014 FIFA World Cup champions Germany. Chile and Colombia complete the top five, ahead of France, Belgium and 2016 UEFA European Championship winners Portugal.
