Ibin Ajayan Projects, which manages Asian Town, has announced that two mega events will take place at the Asian Town Amphitheatre as part of the Eid celebrations in June. 
Both the events will be an opportunity for the public to “meet their favourite film stars and enjoy their performance”, the company has said in a press statement.
The Asian Town Amphitheatre in the Industrial Area has “become a well-known venue for big-scale outdoor events in Qatar”. With a seating capacity of 17,000, it is one of the biggest outdoor event venues in the country. 
“Located in Asian Town, a place exclusively for expatriates, this open theatre is an ideal spot for large-scale events,” the statement notes. Events, particularly those for the Nepali, Sri Lankan, Indian and Filipino expatriate communities in Qatar, are regularly held there and the venue is always packed, it adds.
The amphitheatre is a multipurpose arts and recreation facility, suitable for stage shows, concerts, drama festivals, award nights etc.
