Al Kheesa Interchange on Al Shamal Expressway will be closed for two months from Thursday (May 4) as part of the North Road Corridor Enhancement Project, Ashghal announced.
During the detour, planned in co-ordination with the General directorate of Traffic, commuters can access their destinations east and west of Al Kheesa Interchange and Al Shamal Road using the nearby Umm Slal Mohamed and Al Kharaitiyat Interchanges along with the local roads around (as shown on the map).
Ashghal has said the traffic on the North Road main carriageway will witness no change since the four-lane artery will remain open in each direction as normal.
