Strong winds and high seas towards the north are again expected in offshore areas today, the Qatar Met department has said.
The detailed forecast says northwesterly winds will blow at 8-18 knots in these areas, reaching a high of 22 knots in the north at times before decreasing to 7-15 knots by night. 
Slightly dusty conditions and some clouds are also likely offshore today, with the sea level rising to 7ft at times.
Meanwhile, the forecast for inshore areas says hot daytime conditions are expected in the country along with slight dust in some places and clouds.
The maximum temperature today will be 38C in Doha, Wakrah and Mesaieed, and 37C in Al Khor. Yesterday, the maximum was 39C in Sheehaniya, Turayna and Batna, while in Doha it was 37C.
