Ooredoo has announced a new ‘more data’ promotion for all Hala, Hala Go and Shahry customers.
The initiative is meant to reward customers for topping up with data recharge cards and ensure that everyone can enjoy the award-winning Supernet, the company has said in a statement.
With the ‘more data’ offer, users have to top up with a data recharge card from QR10-200 to get up to 6GB of extra data. The promotion, which ends on May 23, will reward QR10-60 data top-ups with 1GB of free extra data valid until midnight on the day of
activation.
Hala or Shahry users topping up with QR80 will enjoy 2GB of extra data, QR100 data recharges will get 3GB, QR150 will receive 4GB and QR200 recharges will get 6GB, which will all be valid for three full days.
The bonus data will be used before customers’ data recharge and not affect the validity of regular top-up allowance, Ooredoo has
explained.
Customers can check the remaining balance of their extra data by sending “Balance DC” to 121. Data recharges must be activated during the promotional period to get the extra data.
“Data promotions are regularly requested for by Ooredoo customers via the company’s social media pages and call centre, demonstrating the growing demand for data services across Qatar,” the
statement noted.
Ooredoo customers can top up their data in a host of easy and secure ways, including via the Ooredoo App, Mobile Money App, Ooredoo website and self-service machines, or by purchasing a data card or e-voucher from Ooredoo shops and
authorised dealers.
