Her recent flops notwith-standing, Kangana Ranaut has started preparing for her next role in the movie Manikarnika The Queen of Jhansi.
She plays the famous queen who battled against the British empire and gave up her life. Kangana is now taking horse riding lessons for her role. It must be a welcome respite from the slew of controversies she has surrounded herself with, thanks to her candidness.
One strange rumour floating around was that she might even be in a movie being produced by Karan Johar, who was one of the targets of her caustic remarks. But that might not be true.
In fact, she has gained such a reputation for antagonising that another actress referred to Kangana while speaking of how she herself had alienated people. Vidya Balan said that she still gets reminded of it by these powerful filmfolk. But that she was unrepentant and if they didn’t work with her, it was entirely their loss. In the long run, she said, it does not affect one’s career because good roles would come if you are worthy of it.
