Chinese ambassador Li Chen and Intertec Group managing director Abdulla Khalifa Abdulla Turkey al-Subaey inaugurated Intertec’s first exclusive Huawei showroom in Qatar, the first and only one in the Middle East, recently. 
Senior executives from Huawei Consumer Business Group, Intertec and the Chinese embassy attended the opening ceremony event held at the showroom located at Al Nasser Street in Doha. 
At the opening ceremony, al-Subaey said, “We are glad to bring to Qatar a leading Chinese brand like Huawei through our new partnership. The Shenzhen, Guangdong, headquartered company has grown rapidly as a top quality global networking and telecommunications equipment and services group. Qatar citizens and expatriate residents will benefit from this new showroom that will deliver feature-loaded digital devices to suit all segments of the community”.
Al-Subaey said, “We envision a long and mutually beneficial relationship with our stakeholders that will give us many opportunities to develop our business and realise our goals. We see a world of growth and expansion in the years ahead of us where we inspire our new divisions with the same passion for quality that binds us together in our quest for excellence.’’ 
The Intertec managing director congratulated all stakeholders for their “extensive support and hard work” to deliver Huawei’s products that come with the latest software and hardware benchmarks from China.
To celebrate Huawei’s first-ever exclusive showroom in the Middle East, Intertec Group announced special inaugural prices on all purchases from the showroom.
Huawei Consumer Business Group and Intertec Group recently unveiled four new digital gadgets including Huawei P10 and P10 Plus cell phones at a launch event in Doha.
