The 40th session of the Arab ministers of youth and sports council started yesterday at the General Secretariat headquarters in Cairo under the presidency of Libya. Qatar’s delegation to the meeting was led by advisor to the Minister of Culture and Sport for Cultural Affairs, Faleh al-Ajlan al-Hajri, accompanied by director of Youth Affairs at the Ministry of Culture and Sport, Abdul Rahman bin Mohamed al-Hajri and Cultural Expert at the Ministry of Culture and Sport, Jomaa Hama al-Mohannadi. The ministers discussed meeting agenda drafted by the ministers’ offices which includes recommendations from the sports and youth culture committees as well as the Arab League council’s at the summit level on convening a summit session on Arab economic and social development.
