Qatar Fuel (Woqod) has opened a petrol station in Umm Ghuwalina in Doha, making it the second petrol station the company inaugurated this year after Abu Nakhlah petrol station in February. 
The Umm Ghuwalina service station brings the total number of petrol stations owned by Woqod to 57 stations, including mobile stations, the company said in a statement.
The petrol station is spread over an 8,500sqm area and has six lanes with three filling points each. The station will offer basic services, including petroleum products in addition to Sidra convenience store, oil change, tyre repair service, and sale of LPG cylinders.
The station is also equipped the electronic payment service, WOQODe, for individuals and companies. The service has many benefits such as shortening filling time, control customer purchases, and prevent the manipulation of invoices by drivers. 
Woqod CEO Saad Rashid al-Mohannadi said: “We are pleased to open this station in the area of Umm Ghawilina, which is witnessing heavy traffic because of its distinctive location and it will certainly contribute to reducing congestion and providing basic services to the community in the area around the clock”.
