The St Regis Doha is participating in the Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF), an exclusive culinary celebration featuring local talents and top hotels, restaurants, eateries and food entrepreneurs in Doha. The festival, running until April 8 at the Hotel Park, welcomes visitors from 2pm to 10pm on weekdays and from 2pm to 11pm on weekends.
Throughout QIFF, The St Regis Doha will offer a special three-course menu in some of its top-rated restaurants including Gordon Ramsay Mediterranean, Astor Grill, Opal by Gordon Ramsay and Al-Sultan Brahim for QR179 per person.
Signature dishes will be served at Astor Grill, including the Argentinean Black Angus Striploin cooked in the Josper grill; the Quinoa Chia Seed Risotto, a healthy and tasty international dish in addition to the Pecan Pie, prepared in a traditional American style made from corn syrup.
Astor Grill is one of the unique venues where guests can enjoy the exclusive Josper grill, a charcoal oven that gives special flavours to meat.  Furthermore Opal will showcase its traditional Eton Mess, a classic British dessert made of berries, fresh creme and meringue, a very light and fresh dessert that is on the top list of favourites in the UK.
International resident chefs, Elias Gemayel and Mohamed Ouchbakou, will showcase their recipes at the Cooking Theatre tomorrow from 5pm to 5.30pm and on Monday from 5pm to 5.30pm. “We are delighted to be part of QIFF again this year to present some of the best culinary offerings in Qatar available across our distinguished restaurants by some of our internationally acclaimed resident chefs,” said Tareq Derbas, area general manager of Lebanon, Syria, Pakistan, Iran and Iraq for Marriott International and general manager of The St Regis Doha.
