As part of its ongoing monthly talks, Doha’s Fire Station hosted its latest public talk with Thomas Moden and Maysaa Almumin on 3D printing, design and architecture. Moden has over two decades of architectural practice experience in design, planning and construction of a variety of interiors, buildings and urban projects in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. Almumin has worked at a number of design and architectural practices, including Masafa Designs, Them Architects and Designers, Projacs. During the talk, Moden and Almumin shared their experiences, knowledge and engaged in an open discussion with the community.  The Doha Fire Station, home to Qatar Museums’ (QM) Artist in Residence programme, sits at the heart of Doha’s thriving art community and is a hub for cultural exchange. This initiative demonstrates QM’s commitment to nurturing emerging talent and builds on a longer tradition of QM’s patronage to the arts, as well as its passion for supporting the development of artistic talent in Qatar.
